Does Froogle need Google??

Hi all,

Am I correct in thinking that despite uploading a froogle feed to froogle, I wont be listed there until google has indexed my site?

I'm pulling my hair out - i have no way of knowing whether the froogle feed was correctly uploaded.

I don't think they are linked like that-may be wrong

If you go to your Froogle login page, it will tell you whether the feed has been accepted etc.

It can take a while for your first feed to appear, how long ago did you upload?

I really wouldn't worry at all.

Cant remember exactly, but our first feed took a good few days, after that almost instant.

If you have any errors, they will email you to let you know

It can take several days for the first feed to be checked and accepted, after that updates are listed within hours.

Hi - me again..

My froogle file has been uploaded with errors. I get the following errors described:

Invalid URL

Bad Data Feed:
Product Name: "7VE0473"
Product Url: http://%22http/www.oneshoelane.co.uk...othing.html%22
Price:


I checked my froogle data feed and it looks ok - any ideas?

You will need to go into your online froogle settings and select use quotes. Also if you created the feed directly from within Actinic you will also have to open the file and delete the first two lines before uploading.
