There are one or two operational issues setting your store up this way,
1) Once an album has been added to the cart you cannot add it again (this is because in the store mentioned at the start of this thread they have set maximum quantity to 1), so if you add a product but forget to tick the track boxes you cannot go back and add them again. If you change you mind and want to remove or add a track you have to remove it from the cart and then go back and tick all of the boxes again. Put a fragment infront of each album with pics and details and it would look great.
2) You cannot buy a full album at a discount.
I think it might look better to have each track as a product using a template that gives a tabular feel, maybe with the whole album as a single product for a lower price that the sum of all of tracks followed by each of the tracks (the downloads for the album product would be achieved by adding non-optional components to it, each linked to the appropriate track product.
3) It is a bit of a pain ticking all of the boxes to buy an album.
4) No prices are shown (but you could get around that by having a general statement.
It looks nice though, particularly the cart.
However I am a shopper not a web designer so am probably wrong.
3) It is a bit of a pain ticking all of the boxes to buy an album.
What about setting the first component / tick box as "Full Album" and set the discounted price accordingly and then have the individual tracks sitting beneath?
