    Checkout acting strangly. Won't let a customer checkout.

    Hi,

    I have an actinic store that is having some issues with checkout.

    You can add items to your cart, then proceed to checkout.
    You come to the page that asks you what country and state you are in.
    Fill out the fields, hit the next button, and it redirects you to the product page.

    The checkout should take you to the page that lets you enter your customer information. This is causing it so that no one can purchase anything.

    Has anyone experienced this before?

    This issue occurred after upgrading from 7.0.1 to 7.0.5

    Any help or ideas are really appreciated.

    The first step I would take is to do Housekeepung | Compact databases, tick both boxes - this is in case the problem is caused by a databse error.

    Then re-open Actinic, check the data in View | Business settings - tax and shipping and handling tabs. Make sure all locations are members of tax zones and shipping zones.

    Try a site refresh (not an update, but a full refresh from the Web menu).

      Hi, I've found the answer to my problem after lots of searching on the forums.

      I've seen this happen before when people are using the 'Use Images for Buttons in the Checkout' option that is shown in our Advanced User Guide. The problem is usually because when they upgrade the scripts are overwritten with the new version so the script changes necessary for this to work are lost and will need to be input again.
      This is exactly what I've encountered.
