Does any one know how I can modify Actinic to offer a freebie to my customers if they spend over a certain amount.

I want to offer my customers a specific free T-shirt if they spend over £50.

Hi

I'm not aware of a way you can do this. The usual workaround would be to explain and highlight this offer on your home page with something such as "FREE T-shirt with all orders over £50, click here for more details".

When the order is processed, you just include it if the order is over £50.

By highlighting the offer on your home page and having a link to a page where you can detail the offer, you also get the opportunity to put in a disclaimer saying it will be sent out subject to stock and offer can be withdrawn at anytime or replaced etc.

You can also do this using a cart contents discount, first you would need to put all of your products into a product group (view / product groups) then you would need to add a cart content discount, with a trigger value of £50 for that product group you just created and set the offer to free T-Shirt. (View / Discount and Surcharge Settings).

If you are going to have a disclaimer, you might also want to say that if returns are made that bring the order value to less than £50 you need to also return or pay for the T-Shirt.
