    error making a snapshot file

Just installed Actinic on WinXP pro - trial version 7-06 and entered actinic (having chosen developer) and then exited. The offer to backup the system was accepted and imediately errored.
    Errors
    (File Snapshot.cpp, Line 1038) - Registry error 5, key Software\Actinic\Catalog7\Original\InstallRoot\ - Access is denied.

(File Snapshot.cpp, Line 411) - The initialisation file 'SiteBackup.ini' could not be found
If I log in as Administrator, then it backs up successfully, If I remain as the "normal user" (actually a power-user), the backup errors.

The user seems to have sufficient privileges

When I check out the permissions on the actual C:\Program Files\Actinic V7\ directory, that appears to have identical permissions ro the registry node. The PowerUser has almost full permissions, certainly has Modify, Read/Execute and write permissions

When I check the permissions of the registry node, I see that the node has the following permissions
    Administrator
    Administrators
    Creator owner
    Power Users
    Users
    System
When I check the actual user out, he's a member of Power User and Users

so of course, the question is, just what permissions are required,
as a "resonsible administrator", I DO NOT want to give administrator privileges to this person,
    can anyone help please.

    Hi there

Could you please try uninstalling and re-installing to a folder outside of 'Program Files' folder tree and check if it helps. There have been such issues earlier that were sorted by doing this.
