    Text Size Variation

It's just dawning on us that we get a very different response to our website on the basis of what browser a person is using. We're getting a much higher response rate from people using Netscape. I'm guessing that this is to do with the variation in text size. With Netscape, our text comes out looking small and neat. With IE, at the normal text setting, the text is larger and the page looks less attractive.

I've noticed that other websites are able to achieve a uniformly small text size with both Netscape and IE, but I don't think I can access their style sheets to see how this is done. Can anyone tell me how they do it?

    Many thanks,

    Tim

if you use Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ you can install extensions that allow you to view style sheets of other websites.

One thing you can do to solve your problem is to define the text size in your own css, as at the moment you have x-small, or xx-small etc rather than 12px or 0.5em .
