"Perl script needs permission to access Acatalog"

I have a problem uploading Actinic. It says the the Perl script needs permission to access Acatalog.

But when I try to set permissions using Dreamweaver 8, it says "setting access properties failed for acatalog".

Before that, on the Set Permissions dialog, it says, "This may not work for all servers."

Does this mean we'll need to change it servers?

We currently use NetBenefit.

Is this the first time you are trying to upload or has it worked before? Do you know if your Netbenefit server is a Windows or Unix server? If its a windows server you will probably have to ask the support team to change the permissions for you.

For most of us, unix servers are easier to set up and configure.

netbenefit also sound like quite an expensive option and their support may not be best if you're new to the website business. I suggest you have a read of this thread. http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=19390
