Problems with cookies preventing images being displayed and scripts processing???

Hi - I have a strange problem that happens on 2 of my actinic v7.5 sites. This seems to be on an occasional basis and not with the 2 sites at the same time.

The problem is that when I add an item to the cart, and go to the cart, none of the images are displayed and the CSS and javasript scripts do not work. This problem continues throughout the checkout process.

I have 2 Pc's next to each other and it will happen on one pc but not on the other at the same time.

The only way I can resolve this is to delete my cookies.

Both sites are both being hosted on VI.NET. I have not had this problem with sites hosted on other ISPs servers.

I have only had this problem happen with Internet Explorer and not any other browsers.

On one site I have have hidden the "Remember me" option which seems to have reduced the frequency for which this occurs.

Anybody got any ideas on this one?
    Regards
    David

Things I can think of that could cause this:

    1. An incorect basehref statement.

    2. checkout being on SSL and the other files not bing copied/aliased (or whatever it's called) to make them accessible on https.

    3. checkout being on non www. versus the rest of the site being on www. (and vice versa)

      Hi -

      My basehref is <Actinic:BASEHREF value="NETQUOTEVAR:BASEHREF" forced=NETQUOTEVAR:BASEHREFFORCED/>

      is that correct?

How do I check on the other 2 items?
      Regards
      David

              Hi David,

I tested it on IE version 6 and couldn't replicate the problem.
