Example Product Group Warning Message

I get the following message when uploading or previewing my site:

The following empty product groups have been defined:
Example Product Group

any ideas about what this means? How do I get rid of this example product group - I can't see it in my content tree. Should I just hit the "do not shoe this message again button"?

View | Product Groups - highlight - click the remove button.
