Hosting Question

Hey People

I am coming to the point with my website where i need to start looking at hosting.

I have read the guides and i understand that i need to upload to a CGI folder and also that actinic creates a folder too.
This is the first time i have uploaded an actinic e-commerce site and so am a little confused. Normally when i upload a website, all my files tend to go in the HTDOCS folder. Should i still be using this folder when uploading?

Also when choosing a web host, i normally use streamlinenet. What criteria should my web host satisfy? should it be PHP and MySQL based? or are there any other specifics i should have?

Streamline from what I know do support hosting of Actinic sites, with a default actinic without any Db addons (third party stuff) just needing apache, cgi-bin (perl), ftp and sendmail for sending emails out..

Get them or yourself using FTP to create a cgi-bin and acatalog folder in the public web area, as Actinic will need these.

Might want to speak with your host to see if they can provide you with an Actinic Network File for import into your software to ease things along when you come to uploading.
