    Digital Downloads

    Hi
I'm trying to include some free, downloadable worksheets on my site. I've added them to the shop & uploaded the site.
    BUT
On 'purchase' and select download I get the following message:

    Can't locate dd000000.pm in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Perl/lib C:/Perl/site/lib .) at c:\hosting\webhost4life\member\FJKitchen\cgi-bin\nph-dl000000.pl line 18. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at c:\hosting\webhost4life\member\FJKitchen\cgi-bin\nph-dl000000.pl line 18.

    What am i doing wrong?

    Thanks
    Matt

Have you tried purging the files Help | Trouble Shooting to refresh the .pl scripts?

Also worth checking out http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=16323 where I resolved similar issue by removing the nph wrapper

        Sorry...

        I've got the business version.

Jont, I tried your solution first before I posted the original problem. Instead of the error message, I got a CGI error message. Misbehaving CGI script due to incomplete html headers.

If you want the exact message I can redo those changes and generate it.

I will try the file purge to see if that helps too.

        Matt

Just received the following message myself:

"The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers."

Also took a very long time to actually add the item to the cart in the first place

              Right...

I tried the methods outline in the previous thread, and as jont found get the message about HTTP headers.

Have purged the website via the Help | Troubleshoot option, and now returned to the original error message.

I have created a folder in the site 1 directory in which I am placing the downloadable files, perhaps this is the problem, although I have specified the file path in the program.

What happens if you type the file path into the browser directly?

Matt - how are you adding the file to the product? Are you using the "browse" facility to create a relative path - sounds like you are placing an absolute path to your hard drive at the moment!

                        Hi
Yes, I use the browse facility in the Digital download tab. But the file is within a folder added to site1 which then gets uploaded (I believe).

                          OK

I implemented the coding changes suggested at the bottom of the thread by procheck (coding inserts into the nph-download.pl file in the site1 directory)... and IT WORKS!

Thanks for all the help guys, this is a really useful forum.
