Digital & Shipping?

Hi All,

My site uses absolutely no shipping as the items are digital download files but I am starting to sell 'real' items online and they will need to be charged for shipping etc.

I have got absolutely no clue if I can do this in a new, seperate section without affecting the existing sections with no shipping at all?

Any advice would be appreciated, sorry if seems like a dumb-ass question but I have worked with the site without shipping for a year now and figured it was just easier to ask first! :-)

Hello Brian,

This can be done if you set up shipping by weight. Then set up all your DD products with 0 weight and assign the proper weights to the rest of the ('real') products.
Note that the first item in the shipping band grid should be 0 - £0 to get it work as desired.

There is a minor issue with this (presumably the next release will sort this out). The default product weight can not be 0 wich means that you should enter 0 weigth for each of your DD products.
