Although I've not done this, have a look in the Act_xxxxxxemail.txt files. I think a lot of the text is in those.

I believe you can also create your own:

You can create your own email template by going to 'Advanced | Template Manager' (you need to be looking at the grey Template Manager, so click 'Change View' if you are looking at the graphical one). Switch to the 'Miscellaneous' tab and click the 'Other' button under 'Emails'.

Not so simple it seems - these are not listed in the txt files. I presume perhaps it's hard coded or in pl somewhere??

Hi there

We haven't been able to fix this one yet as it requires a change to the database, and we cannot do that in minor releases (like 7.0.4, 7.0.5, 7.0.6 etc.). The change is marked as a critical one, and should be in the next major release.

For me, there's two (2) things missing in Actinic !
1.
A simple way to have bilingual (trilingual, why not) catalog.
The user would have to chose his language entering the site... but with a single centralized stock control.
2.
Possibiliy to edit all those pre-formatted emails.
Because I cannot edit those emails, I don't use Actinic a full capacity !

We use our One Stop Order Processing program to send out emails, it has a similiar email template facility as Actinic, but you have control over all of the text, you can also create HTML emails, which is useful for order tracking emails and the like. Not the ideal solution as you have to buy a plugin but the program is also a big time saver if you can make use of the batch order processing facilities within it.

It seems to to me that commercially, this pluging should be offered to the foreign users who make the request of it... it is not users fault if the English language is imposed in part of the program!!!

...or the software should not be sold abroad...

...I thus waits your by this plugin by email... or by post...

Concerning the answer of Mr. DICKEN, it has been the same one for 3 years, whereas version 5 & 7 left since, then the 7.0.6...

They are not very serious of your share Mr. Dicken!!! Perhaps in the next version... I do not believe you any more!!!
