I tried searching for the wishlist thread but I couldn't find it. Hopefully this wish is already high up the list, otherwise here is my 2c.
1. In the cart display tax inclusive prices - especially for the B2C market, consumers in Australia are not used to seeing prices quoted ex GST(VAT)
2. The possibility of adding a line in the cart stating (when tax inclusive prices are shown):
Total GST/(or VAT) in this order $x.xx
So it would look something like:
Product A $10.00
Product B $5.00
Total $15.00
GST included in Total $1.36
3. The possibility of inputting Tax Inclusive pricing when inputting product details. Otherwise the possibility of inputing prices exclusive of tax to 3 decimal places instead of 2 - to counteract the problem of 1,2 or 3 cent discrepancies between prices shown on the product page and those shown in the cart -
example: I have a product charged at $8.50 which includes 10% GST.When I place 10 of these in the cart the cart shows the individual price is $7.73 ex GST, so 10 equal $77.30. Then it adds 10% tax ($7.73) to bring the total to $85.03 instead of the $85.00 it should be.
