Upload Trouble

Our site has been working ok, trying to update yesterday and today, but keep getting this error message.

200 tape is now 8 bit binary
200 port command successful
425 could not open data conection
connection to port 5002: connection timed out

an error occurrred while writing to "acatalog" a website. the problem is probably due to permissions problems, but could be due to lowdisk space.
actinic ecommerce can work with these settings. press cancel if you would like to manually examine the permission and disk space on the web. press retry if you would like to actinic ecommerce to attempt to change the permissions in the directory for you.

Any one with any ideas,

have you checked your file permissions and available disk space?

And file permissions?

When a host upgrades their operating system with patches and fixes then they often end up resetting permissions to a default of 644. So one day it works, the next it doesn't and you have to go and change them again.

Hi,

If you go to the 'Advanced | Network Setup' screen and click the 'Test' button, do you get any errors? You could also try ticking the 'Use passive FTP transfers' box if you haven't already got that selected and see if that works.
