    Network Settings

    Hi

If I enter http://www.brainache.com at the browser I see nothing but a blank white page.

If I enter http://www.brainache.com/acatalog then I see the correct page.

    How can I correct this?

The site has a root directory with a cgi-bin an hrtdocs and a logs directory underneath it and finally there is an acatalog folder under the htdocs.

    The Network settings are :-

    Catalog url ------http://www.brainache.com/acatalog/
    CGI-bin URL------ http://www.brainache.com/cgi-bin/
    Codebase --------./

I am seeing a serach page for NetworkSolutions on both those URL's

You either need to upload an index.html page to the site root or use a .htaccess rule to redirect from index.html to acatalog/index.html

      Re Network Settings

      Hi

I used an artificial domain name, the actual one being www.grevillerossiter.com. Does that help?

Shall look up the settings you specify.

Can I ask why should this be - shouldn't actinic know where it is if it loaded itself there ?

      Rgds

Yep - that links does as described in the OP.

In the content tree under Actinic the very top icon (shaped like the house) click on and check that you have "use as Website homepage" ticked

There is also a homepage setting under Design | Options | Misc to set the URL

There is no homepage link on the site at all so unable to check where the homepage is being set.

May be worth checking the cart colours - I was unable to read any of the text placed into the cart

Thank you for that - shall investigate further.

Yes, the colours need to be set and this well be the next step after getting proper access.

            Your help is much appreciated.

            Regards
