    Version 5/ version 6 clash - order details lost

    Hi

    This is the situation:

    We maintain a site for a customer who downloads their own orders.


    We just upgraded at our end to Developer, made a lot of site changes, reuploaded the site - all fine.

    Unfortunately when the customer downloads the orders they say 'Credit card details sent separately'.

    She sent me a snapshot and I get the same thing.

    We had this once before when her installation of Actinic went bad (she moved machines and the techie didn't reinstall Actinic properly).

    Any ideas greatly appreciated!

    did you upgade catalog at the customer end?

        both your version and the customer's need to be the same.

          Ah-ha.

          I suspected that might be the problem.

          We don't need them to be able to maintain the shop (they initially thought they would but went off the idea) so I don't want to inflict the expense of a V6 update on them.

          Would buying them order manager do the trick?

          Also can they in some way send us the orders from order manager (at the moment they send a snapshot) so that we can run reports and sales analysis?

          Sorry to be a bit thick - you'll have guessed I'm a newbie at this!
