Link CUSTOMVARs to external data?

I have created a number of CUSTOMVARs - it would be great to link them to the same external spreadsheet I use for other fields, whether dynamically or as an import - is this possible? Thank you. Mark H.

You can import custom variables but you cannot exernally link them.

Thanks Jan - I've set up a test Custom Variable RANGEURL in Actinic, and put it as a header (RANGEURL) in my spreadsheet with other import fields, but when I try to map it in import, the field doesn't appear in the list of Actinic fields - have I missed something out? Thanks, Mark.

SORTED - well as far as it goes.......

I've now found TraceyG's document on importing custom variables from a spreadsheet via a hierachical file - this will help - thank you Tracey. Dynamic linking of Custom Variables for V8 perhaps?!
