Product Group ID in Import CSV file

Hi, I am using a csv file to help upload a list of components. In the Import Fields is one for Product Group ID which I supposed to be for the Product Group Name. However, when I use this, I get an error message requesting a number, not a name.

I've looked in vain for the Product Group ID for the product groups I have set up but I can't see it. Am I blind?

Also in the help files under Valid Fields for Importing this field is not mentioned.

Your help would be appreciated.

You will find that information in the Database (ActinicCatalog.mdb). Open the 'Products' table and look for the column 'nGroup ID', here you will see the product group ID's.

Here the values are as follows...
0 = Duplicate Products
-1 = Unassigned Products
1 = First Product group Created ( as seen in View | Product groups )
2 = Second Product Group created and so on
