actinic removing comments

Hi,

I know that when you use the compact option in actinic, it removes comments which is fine, however I need one of the those comments to still get sent (i am using a test for IE).

Do you know if its possible to put it in a NOCOMPACT type tag around that comment so actinic still shrinks everything else, but leaves that one intact?

I dont really want to leave it unshrunk if I don't have to.

There's no such NOCOMPACT tag available AFAIK. However <!-- type coments are not stripped by Actinic within <script> ... </script> tags.

You could also try putting your commented info into a CUSTOMVAR and use that to place it on the page. That bypasses the comment stripping.
