Can anyone tell me how to stop Actinic selling more items than I have in stock?

Stock control is on and back-ordering is off.

You have to download your orders, and upload your catalog to update the online stock.

There is also a field that allows you to set the maximum number of items available for purchase, if you set this to the number in stock, you can't sell more than you have in a single order (although 2 people can overbuy if they are shopping at the same time).

And although Jan is careful to avoid selling on the forum, one of her utilities will run regular order download/updates automatically to keep the stock position on the website up to date.
