Invoice address / Delivery address

Hi everybody,

I've a rather annoying problem : for most customer accounts, the delivery and invoice addresses are different (click here to see a screencapture), but when they make an order, only the invoice address appears on the receipt (for both adresses !), and there is no way for customers to change it

Any idea on how to solve that ?

I don't use customer accounts, but have you read this section?

I just read it again, and my customers addresses seem to be correctly set.

Please click here to see a test customer details, with 2 different addresses.
Then click here to see a receipt of an order made by that customer.

Do you see anything wrong ?

Hi Mathieu

In order to let your customer change the delivery address on the checkout pages please do the following:

Go to Design | Text | Website (contd) tab and tick the checkbox for 'Show' and 'Required' for the prompt "If you want to ship the purchase to an address other than the invoice address, check this box:" and then click 'Apply' and 'OK'.

Now go to View | CustomerAccounts | Edit customeraccount and go the Buyers tab of a customer account and check "Allow User to Select or Enter New Address".

This will let your customer enter a different delivery address on the page after the invoice address page, provided the customer selects the checkbox for "If you want to ship the purchase to an address other than the invoice address, check this box:" on the page where they select the shipping destination. Now on the receipt page you will find the defualt invoice address and the delivery address entered by the customer.
