discounts?

just wondering if anyone has any idea on how to give discounts?

what i want to do is give a option on a product they take their pick from a drop down list then at the end they get 10% , just have no idea how to it!!!

You need to set up a cart contents discount - the help file has full details on how to do this (once you have the magic word to look up that is)
