Change of template

Is it possible to change the actinic template once a website is up and running?

Yes - You can play with the design until you are ready to upload or do changes and upload as you work.

You can download orders which you are redesigning.

Hi-I had been told by a website designer (not actinic) that if I uploaded a new design template (I want to change from 'smart' to something else) the site would crash and I would have to start putting in my products all over again.

Not true. If you change a theme, or a design using Dream Weaver if you are doing custom work, then the brochure pages and product pages layout will not be affected. This is one of the big plus points with Actinic.

THANKYOU!! This forum is great. I wish I had posted this thread earlier. I've wanted to change the design/theme template for months but was put off by the incorrect information I had been given. Thanks again Malcolm.
