    Simple design problem

    Hi

I've put my logo in, but there are stripes running through it which I can't remove...looking through this forum others have had similar problems and it seems I need to remove bgcolor in the text, but I can't find that text anywhere in the Act_BrochurePrimary html.

I'm getting very confused here! Can anyone help. Have things changed since the last post or am I just looking in the wrong place?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Becky,

What theme are you using? What format is your logo in? How did you put it in?

Normally, you would go to the menu Design Options - Shop defaults and select your logo file on the first line. If you are also using Actinic's Brochure page as your domain home page, you would repeat this on the Brochure tab.

I'm using the curves template. I've put the logo in, but because the background colour shows through - basically I want the logo on white (and it's currently dark blue). When I go and change the colours and turn the blue palate off, the blue is also removed from some of the lhs navigation buttons, and there are still a couple of (pink) stripes running through the logo.

I can't even put the logo on a white background and add this in, as there is a search box on the rhs next to the logo, which the logo obviously doesn't cover so which retains the original background.

      Hope this is making sense!?

      Any advice much appreciated.

      Thanks

I did a bit more searching and found the solution. This place is a mine of information I won't give up so easily before posting a query next time.

        Thanks anyway!
