changing image names?

hi,

i am trying to change the names in which my pics are named, but when i change them to something else:

but this came up when i did it??

"The text field is specified but is not used by the selected layout.
Select another layout to enable it again."

does anyone know what this means??

It means you are not changing the name of your file, you are changing the template which controls the presentation of the product/frgament.

You having existing description/information text in the text box, but are changing the layout either to image and title or to image only, so the entered text is not being used and will not show on the page.
