Omit Parent Section button?

I have a button in my top navigation sysytem which directs a user to the Prent Section of the website.

This button is named 'Shop' and is listed under Actinic Developer | Design Options | Navigation section.

Can I completely omit this from my navigation system?

Is there not a checkbox in 'Design | Options | Navigation' that says 'Omit Navigation Link Back to Top of Catalog'? I think you will just need to check this.
