    Delivery Country

    Hi,

    On my first order page, the delivery country tag (country:*) is red, however the user does not always need to change this... How can I change it to black, I couldn't find it in the text options.

      Thanks for the reply. Thats not it though. That is the country field on the next order page, I had that unticked already.

      Any other ideas?

        Oh...OK ...you can edit Act_LocationSelectTemplate.html and change the class of the location prompt (probably .actrequired)

          Right, nearly there... Although that removes the red from both the invoice country and delivery country :-) oh dear.. is this possible? I need the invoice country to be red, and the delivery country not to be...

                Hi,

                The second manadatory field (Country:*) is formatted by a script and that defines all mandatory fields and hence cannot be changed only for one field without effecting the others.

                The work around would be to hide the second Country prompt or just turn it off by choosing "Tax by Delivery Address" under View | Business Settings and on the tax tab. The customer would still get prompted to enter the country for the Delivery Destination further down the checkout process.
