flat file import

Hi,

Do you understand why the products 311031024 and 311031025 are not imported when I make a flat file import ??

Here is an extract of my .txt file :

Are you doing a Replace or Update import?

If it's an Update and the product is already in the Catalog but marked as Deleted or Hide on Web Site it won't show.

What do you see in the Actinic Product Tree?

Have the imported products found their way into "unallocated products" at the bottom of the tree? This has happened to me on occasions even when Section Text information is included - don't know why.

Bit of a long shot but have you tried Edit / Find to see if these product references are located somewhere else in your product tree?

I just tried... unfortunately those refs are nowhere else

Hi there

Does the images exist within the site directory? If the images are not within there, then Actinic will not import these products. Try checking for that.

Have you got the error messages being sent to a file? I find they are very good at telling me what has gone wrong.

You were right Nadeem, images were missing ( I hadn't seen ! )
