    YahooSections Menu Sections

Hi - this may have been dealt with but i cannot find exactly what i'd like to do.

I currently using the YahooSections JavaScript to display my sections. However, this just lists everythign in one long list. I am looking to split my menu sections into three menus (displaying the first section level only) and have them located on different areas of my Act_Primary.htm template - two on one side of the page and the other on the right and side column:

    Products Top Downloads
Section level one Section level one

    Best Sellers
    Section level one

    Any ideas

This can probably be done. It would help if we could see the site in question.

Hi, here is the link to the home page i have been working out how to split the menu - so its a little bit all over the place

      http://www.active-answer.co.uk/acatalog/index.html

but I hope you can see that i am trying to get different menu sections into different locations - one menu will be on the the hand side of the page and two on the left.

      Thanks

I see you've worked it out using the .pChild items.

Yes the lower two menus under "Products" & "Companies" utilise the pChild items - where as the top menu "Best Seller" is the straight YahooSections menu."
My issue is the .pChild Javascript but i can spilt the menu in to sections but i so far cannot find a way to edit the code to only show first level sections - i.ee not show the sub sections - for instance, under the Products menu i don't want to show "Arabic to Ukrainian"

That's been covered many times on this Forum. You have to delete the inner loop. I re-posted how to do this only a few days ago. A bit of searching should find it.
