drop down boxes & prices

we have some drop down boxes on our site with items in them at diffrent prices how do we get the cart to reconise these prices currently brings up item but no cost Thanks

You have to set up a Component and Permutations to do this.

See the Actinic Help for Making Customer Selection Affect Price and Stock Level.

Prepare to be dismayed when you find that the prices in the HTML for name field of these choices is purely informative and that you have to keep it in sync with the Permutation values.

If the dropdowns are components on a product, go to the product page in the Actinic tree on the left and click on the component. On the right, you will see a permutation tab. Click that and click the fill button. Set your prices on each line.

Click on the product and choose your pricing method.

If they are attributes without a component, you will have to add a component (copy the attributes to another product while you add the component and then copy them back).
