New to Actinic

Hi,

I've only just started to use this package, and basically i am trying to get my head around it. Is it possible to use the same page styles that are within my site? I have a site, and i want to use the same image?

whats the site address? also, do you mezn you want to incorp the cart as part of your site? if so, yep, actinic is pretty configurable.

You could use a clean layout 2 with a little bit of modification, but thats probably the best place to start.

Try a few different ones until you get something you think is reasonably near what you want, and then get editing - a couple of days of messing around and you will be flying.

Thanks. But how do you edit the colours etc of the page, or can't you? Also, when you first open the package, there appears to be a test site on there. Is this assuming that you are basically creating a new site from scratch?

To be able to transfer the design of your current site you will need to know html and use the notepad editor in Actinic or get a copy of a WYSIWYG editor such as Front Page or Dreamweaver - I assume you have one you use for your current site?.

You can then export the templates on which Actinic is built into the editor make the changes and view the changes in the Actinic preview. Download the Dreamweaver extension from the Actinic website if you are using it also get the advanced user guid which covers the whole process.
