Products in line. Your Preference is ?

What does everyone think?

I have seen some sites where the products are all in a column, i.e.
Picture…. Price and text
Picture…. Price and text
Picture…. Price and text

On My site I Use.
Picture…. Price and text
Price and text…. Picture
Picture…. Price and text

I feel that my customers eye is drawn too much from product to product and would like a few opinions. What do you guys and gals think.

Also, if we get more than a few saying Picture…. Price is the way to go does anyone know where this setting can be changed? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It depends on the Default Product layout that your site is using. Assuming you are using v5, if you go to Design | Options and on the Defaults tab, you'll find the Default Product Layout and the layout you have selected. Choose another option from the dropdown say 'Text to the right of the image' and then apply the change and check the preview. Similarly you could use any option in that dropdwon and stick with the one you prefer. Do an update for the change to reflect on your website.
