    the query is too complex

I've recently merged the ordering and maintenance back into one copy of the site (they were on 2 computers)

but now after pressing the download arrow i get the following dialog boxes

    "the query is too complex"

    followed by

an error occurred whilst purging the order details, deleted orders were not purged, try purging the database again.

    Orders are then sucessfuly downloaded.

I have compacted the DB, and run the purge orders command without any orders marked for purge (as I don't want to purge orders and never did)

For future reference, you can delete a thread when you edit it.

But actually, leaving this one the Community is really handy for other people - so if you could leave it I'd be grateful.

        Hi Chris

thats what I thought but I couldn't see it...I can delete a post, I could delete this post if I wanted to, but I thought as I started the thread I could delete the thread..

But I'll leave it....since it may be useful.

Deleting a PSP pending was possible in this case as there was quite a history of them, but i wonder what the solution would be if there wasn't an order I could pick on to delete and then purge. Other than placing a dummy order?

You probably got the error because you had too many orders in PSP pending and it was trying to automatically purge them when it downloaded them - that is my guess anyway.
