odd error???

when ever i am changing things on my site this come up;

'an error occured while copying c:\program files\actinicv7\main.css to:c\programfiles\actinicv7\sites\site1\previewhtml\main.css access denied'

i have refreshed the site too but still it happens???

Many people are unwilling to open .doc files from unknown sources. You'd be better posting the text or attaching a .jpg or .gif.

AFAIK there is no file called main.css used by Actinic.

Try using Windows Search command to see if you have a file of that name or one containing that text. The results may help you see what's going on.

thanks i had a look and i found 5 main.css in my actinic folder as well as 4 smain.css in there too?!

if there not meant ot be there what do you think the error could be?

I've no idea where these files came from. I'm guessing that you created them. Look in them and see if you recognise the contents. Then see if the references to them are correct.

i am going to leave them be as i did not create them ( a designer did ) i have had a good look round my site nothings seems wrong to look at anyway!

If that file is meant to be there it may be read-only. Check that the main.css in your PreviewHTML folder isn't read only. Right-click it in Windows Explorer and select Properties.
