We have a client whose Actinic site is 70MB. We are going to update it from V4 to V6. She also would like us to upload it before sending it back to her, because she only has a dial-up connection, and we have broadband.
The problem being, when you zip up a site and put it on another computer, Actinic always wants to upload the whole site rather than just update it. This makes the whole process of us uploading it rather pointless!
Is there any way to force Actinic to realise it only has to update the site? What mechanism does it use to work out what files need updating?
I don't see how it can be ftp file dates, as my method of transferring a site to another computer is to zip up the site folder and unzip it to the new computer. Winzip maintains the original file dates between zipping and unzipping.
Any clues?
