    Index Page Problem

    Hi,

Recently I tried to revert the homepage of my site from the Actinic page to an index.htm file. The problem is that when I deselect the checkbox on the home settings saying 'Use as Website Home Page', the uploader has an error saying that there is a duplicate index.html file. I don't know whether this is to do with a setting i've put wrong or that the homepage I want to use is .htm. Any ideas?

Delete the Actinic index page from your server.

What name have you assigned to the page that was your brochure page in Actinic? Is this now perhaps home.html? Or still called index.html?

I would rename the page within Actinic, then try again.

If you change the page name don't forget to add in permanent redirects into a .htaccess rule to allow cached pages to still find the site
