    Norton Internet Security problem

I have a customer using version 5.1.4 of catalog and v4.0 of NIS

he has recently reported that on uploaded ammendments NIS displays 'blocked trojan: sockets1' when Actinic reaches the 'purging files' stage, and causes Actinic to freeze entirely.

Other than disabling NIS on upload, is there a patch to counteract this?

The Norton Internet Security patch introduced in 514 (and v6) was to prevent Norton from stripping out referrer information from the online URLs which was stopping the online cart from working.

No-one in support has come across this particular error before. Could it be that there is actually some sort of trojan on your client's PC?

I would suggest disabling NIS for this upload and then try re-instating it again for subsequent uploads and see how it does.
