Stop refresh

I've always had Refresh set to manual to try speed things up. The problem I have is if I copy/paste anything from one part of the shop to another Actinic refreshs anyway, taking 5 secs each time.
I can be moving 100+ items about which ends up with me spending more time waiting for Actinic than the work its self.
Is there anyway to turn Refresh off all together or at least stop it doing it when it feels like it.

You could try changing your view to only show the left and right normal panes - 'simple view' - (ie without a preview pane) - this may help.
