Exporting Images to a Spreadsheet

Hi,
Can someone tell me the procedure for exporting images to an excel spreadsheet using Developer? I have placed the images in my website root folder and would like to know what to do from here...

Hi,

You cannot export images only from Actinic. You can export the whole catalogue (File | Export | Catalog) but this will export all product information in a hierarchical format.

If you are confident using Microsoft Access 2000, then you could maybe run a query on the database and export the results to Excel. The database for the site is 'c:\program files\actinic v7\sites\site1\ActinicCatalog.mdb'. Images for products are kept in the 'product' table ('Image FileName' field (main product image) and 'sThumbnailImage' field (thumbnail image)) and the section images are in the 'Catalog Section' table (sSectionImage field). Take a backup of the database before doing this. I hope this helps.
