Hi all, have seen multiple listings on here similar to what im doing but nothing quite covers it. I'll try and explain in generic terms so that any answers may be useful for other people.
Right...
I have 5 seperate Products (A-E), and a Package (F), that when purchased uses products (A-C), but offers the option of products (D & E) ie:
Product F
Component 1 - Linked to Product A (Always Used)
Component 2 - Linked to Product B (Always Used)
Component 3 - Linked to Product C (Always Used)
Component 4 - Linked to Product D (Optional at Cost)
Component 5 - Linked to Product E (Optional at Cost)
All Products (A-E), are available to buy, are in stock, have stock monitoring enabled, and have their own prices.
Product F has its own price that will be charged when purchased.
Now i am struggling to understand how actinic will respond to certain scenarios, and how to set stock levels.
Do i have to enable stock monitoring for this Product (F) as well or does its 3 main components (A-C) being in stock auto-set this?
If i set the Stock monitoring and one of the components goes out of stock does actinic, also disable this package (Product F)?
How will actinic respond if Products (A,B,C & F) are in stock but one of the optional products (D or E) isnt available, will it remove the option line, or just throw up an error at checkout?
All help very much appreciated.
