The 'Permutations' Tab

How do you get the The 'Permutations' Tab to show up?

You have to have options assigned to the product first of all, so assuming you have added the component, attribute (for drop down, radio buttons etc) and then added choices to it, then go into the Permutations tab of the component and click the Fill List option, which will then show them all that are avail to you.

The permutations tab does not show up if you create a component and select associated product?

Under the product, you need to have a component, followed by Attribute, followed by choices.

You have to have choices for different permutations to be able to appear...

If you are after connecting this 'visible' product to other products (maybe hidden) then you need choices to connect them onto, which under the fill list in permutations then can be associated to these other products.
