BRochure Request

Hi There,

With my new shop: www.miffyshop.co.uk I want to include a feature for non-customers ie people just browsing the site to:

Give us their names, emails and addresses so I can mail them a paper brochure.

I also want to capture name, emails and addresses as part of 'free giveaway' promotions and competitions.

I started out tying to edit Act_ContactUs.html and created this:

http://www.miffyshop.co.uk/acatalog/Competition.html

Obviously, this did not work!

I want to capture the data in such a way that I can retrieve using MoleEnd Marketing tools/Group Mail.

This really can't be rocket science, can anyone help?

Have a look at the formbuilder product that 1 and 1 offer in the software section of your control panel. You can set this up for the results to be mailed to you.

Got it working

I finally got this working:

and the link on the front page:

http://www.miffyshop.co.uk.

This is not a very elegant solution, it uses the Newsletter functionality of the 1&1, from which you can export data in .csv format.

The Form functionality did not want to work.

Server side functionality is not my strong point, but this does work.

I would be grateful for anyone submitting test emails. The site does not go live till Monday, so I can delete any entries I receive before then in the clear knowledge they are tests.

I visited both links - exact duplicates, and both appeared to work. On the first I subscribed, on the second I unsubscribed the same email address, but different address details.
