    to Actinic

We have setup an online store using to test the market. We have found some aspects of rather frustrating. It seems limited in terms of the ability to easily modify the look of the website, orders don’t always appear in Admin (but we get emails from Nochex saying people have paid) and modifying the functionality is fraught with worry as its impossible to predict whether the mod will work or mess everything up.

Consequently we are looking to improve our site by swapping to Actinic Business edition. Has anyone else experience of transferring from to Actinic? Is there any easy way to transfer the data ie sql commands, csv files etc or will it all need to be typed in again? In what way on a day-to-day basis will we find Actinic superior to ?

    Thanks for any info

You may not find many people here who know what is.

If you are able to export a csv file from your existing system there is a pretty good chance of being able to import it (or the bulk of it) into Actinic.

If you download the 30 day Demo of Actinic you will find a sample site already installed.

Actinic also provides some example csv import files (in C:\Program Files\Actinic v7\Original\Common), one of which actually builds the demo site.
