    Hosting packages? Database support?

    I'm looking at the requirements for a server:

    Web site:

    * NT or UNIX/Linux server
    * Perl 5.004 or later; MD5 Perl module recommended
    * user writeable CGI bin

    Is that correct? No database support?

    I saw somewhere the database is an mdb, isnt that an MS Access database? My understanding was that mdb could only handle about 5 consecutive transactions and was thus unsuitable as a client server database?

    I was hoping to use our existing supanames host. Has anyone successfully hosted an Actinic based website on one of these: http://www.supanames.com/index.php?page=value

    Thanks

    Pete

    Actinic stores its data in an Access database on your PC, however the database is not uploaded online.

    Actinic generates HTML pages to upload to the webserver.

    I have heard supanames being discussed in these forums, try a search so see what that brings up
