Digital Download ... single purchase many products

I am embarking on my first site that is a DD site selling artwork in the form of Hi-Res PDF's. (I am using Actinic V7 with DD).

I will have over 200 products and a customer may have any configuration of these on a single purchase transaction.

Q1. If a customer picks, for example, 4 products, will they get,
a) 4 receipt e-mails, 4 links....
b) 1 receipt e-mail, 4 links.....
c) 1 receipt e-mail, 1 link with 4 sub links, or something ??

Or is there any way of creating one link with one file that is a ZIP of the 4 products they purchased?

Q2. (This is a long shot).... is there a way of adding security to a purchased file during the purchasing process, i.e. if the product mypicture.pdf is purchased by Customer A, can i encrypt it with something unique to Customer A?
I know how to add security to a file in Acrobat, but its the same security for Customer A and Customer B, C etc, which is OK, but not good enough. (I want to stop, or at least discourage, file distribution over the wonderful file distributing platform... the internet..... yes I know what your thinking, if you had the answer to this one you'd be on a beach some where sipping a tequila, being fanned by sun kissed beauties).

Q3. Do you know next weeks lottery numbers?

Q1. If you have it so that the order confirmation email contains the links (which assumes that they have paid using an Online Credit Card Processor), then 1 email is sent containing all of the links to each individual product.

Dont see a way of automatically creating a single file based on the ordered DD items, with the only way being to have a product (which is a known batch of smaller products), i.e. they are buying the batch product with set internal items, in which case you can do it - but automatically which is what I think this is geared towards - no way afraid (well not without some heavy scripting).

Q2. Again, encrypting on the fly would require server side interaction, which is not going to be easy or cheap - your fears realised.

Q3 - if you find out (tell us).

OK, so one file, with all links..... thats fine.

I've thought about pre-defined batched products, definate scope here..... and gives a potential benefit of increasing unit sales prices for an apparently better purchase from the customers point of view.... could discount as well.... lods of scope.

I'm with you all the way, on the rest, a long shot I know, on ZIPing encrypting etc etc..... Maybe something to think about when I've sold a few products.

....oh and the lottery numbers will be; 2, 15, 16, 34, 38, 40
