importing images from a file import

I have just started importing an excel file on a daily basis . I use Map Fields and everything works fine except the images. The path in the database for image has forward slashs e.g. /product_images/image.jpg it uploads ok , but when i go into actinic product details the slashes are not there product_imagesimage.jpg it then causes an error when uploading , i.e can't see the image. can anyone help

The "Image filename" field in your spreadsheet should refer to the location of the image on your hard drive (eg product_images\image.jpg) and should contain backslashes, not forward. You will get errors on importing if you have forward slashes in this field as Actinic wil be unable to find the image.
