    Shipping over £50 free

    Hi Everyone,
I'm very new to Actinic, and have hit a bit of a problem.

I need to incorporate very simple shipping terms into Actinic.

I'm only offering delivery in the UK.
All orders over £50 are free. Orders under are charged £4.95.

I've uploaded the site to the new server, the delivery charges for under £50 are not being applied.
I am also receiving this error on the 2nd stage of the order form:

"- Your order has exceeded the shipping tables defined by the supplier, therefore it is not possible to calculate the shipping cost. Please contact the supplier with this information as they will be happy to process your order and will then be able to correct the shipping tables.

    Thank you."

I currently have shipping and handling set to:
Total Value - Free over £50 - If shipping band not defined - Use default charge £4.95.
Shipping bands - By Zone - UK

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

    All the best
    Chris

Under the shipping bands (View | Business Settings | Shipping & Handling) try setting the Excess to "take highest value in table"

      Hi Jont,
      Thanks for the reply.

Your advice has removed the error message I was getting. However, the carriage charge is still not being applied to orders under £50.

      Any further suggestions?

      Thanks
      Chris

What settings do you have in the shipping zones?

If you have shipping by price try the following matrix:

        £0.00 = £0.00
        £49.99 = £4.95
        £50.00 = £0.00

The first line is of use if you want to add in a free product (brochure request etc) and exclude it from the postage costs.

            That's resolved the problem.
