Help setting up our affiliate scheme ...

Hi Guys,

we have our actinic site and we are looking to have affiliates to drive traffic to our site (www.furniture-packages.co.uk).

We were looking at going through an affiliate company such as affiliatefuture, however, I think that it would be cheaper to set up ourselves, without having to pay the affiliate companies every time a sale comes in.

Does anyone know of a company that can do this completely for us from start to end ?

Welcome Dan. There are a number of software solutions that could fit the bill.
Have a search on the forum for affiliate software or affiliate programs and you should find quite a lot of info.

I think affiliate future are very very expensive. Try allaffiliatepro. They sell the software for around £300 so you don't have joining feees, monthly fees and commissions to the affiliate company. The contact is Lyle and he is very helpful and knowledgeable. The key to any affiliate program is finding good affiliates and keeping communications going. Being part of a network doesn't always achieve this.

Have Affiliate Pro gone under ?

the affiliate pro product does look excellent, but after two phone calls, a completed form and a further email today, I still have had no response from them.

Does anyone know - have these guys gone under ?

Although the AAP product appears very good their email response leaves a lot to be desired. I have had good service by AAP during installation of the product but long delays in their responding to emails since. I would recommend you phone again rather than email.

yeah, I e-mailed them (aap) over some technical issues (still not resolved) and didn't get any response back. Seems they are only around when you want to buy something...

either they're raking it in and dont need to bother to phone people back, or they sincerely havent got a clue !

I've since gone over to AFFPLANET and will have a play about with that

Hi All,
We've been remodelling the office after recently upgrading all of our machines. We had aimed to get it finished on the Bank holiday but unfortunately it spilled over to Tuesday. We have indeed been focusing less on sales leads and more on completing the new version of AllAffiliatePro which is overdue. Believe me we will be focusing heavily of sales leads once it is complete.

Have To Butt In With Something Positive..

I've just being browsing through everyone's coments & thought i had to give something positive... We run AllAffilitePro on our site & to be honest we found Lyle & the team very helpful. As with any Affiliate software that i have come accross so far it always has a trick to try get it going. To be truthful Allaffiliate pro was difficult to get going as well, however Lyle & the team installed the whole opertaion in the end at no charge.

So all in all i just wanted to let everyone know that AllAffiliate Pro have been very helpful and Lyle has confirmed they are updating all their software & trying to get their customer services back on track.

Just didn't want a bad light to be left on it.....

Look further back, the e-mail was sent on 16/11/05 and a reminder on the 21/11/05. And spyware read receipts indicate they were opened on 16th and 23rd respectively. Don't bother looking into the problem now though, I don't run the software anymore and I am long past caring.
