Modify the printed invoice

Hi. I need to modify the printed invoice, as some information are not on the printed document. The files is in a .rpt. format. What is the best way to do this ?

rpt files are editable using Crystal Reports

I would check within the software that the lines you want to change are not editable within Design "Text"

what do you want to change?

Otherwise you will have to search the web/ebay for Crystal Reports (I think 8.5)

Hi. There is not enough space to write soem words as : "telephone", "télécopie", "Numéro de commande" etc. So I have change these words Design | Text.
The bigger problem is that I do not have the telephone number and mail address for the delivery zone. So if delivery phone is not the same that the invoice phone, I will have a problem.

It is only the 'Invoice' and 'Packing List' reports that do not display the delivery phone and email. This is because customers who folded up these reports and stuck them on the front of packages asked us to remove them - as they didn't want their customer's personal contact details shown to the world.

You can see these details in the 'Data Entry' reports and also in the 'Customer' tab of the customer order.

Ok I understand but it would probably be possible in a next version to add this as an option. I use this Invoice report to send the product and it will be helpfull for me to get this information. So ?

It is really a Data Protection issue too as this information can be regarded as personal and not for disclosure. However, contact information for delivery is a valid one for the carrier. Should they need to delivery and not have a way to contact the customer for some reason related to the delivery then they can't deliver.
Also, special instructions given by the customer is set in the wrong place and should be under the delivery or over the delivery address so it can be read through the Docs Enclosed window.

What's the going rate for adding a logo to invoices or chaning text/layout of a packing list?

It depends on who does the work, we charge £50 - £100 for basic changes like that but I think we might be cheap.
